Aunt Cindi & Olivia's Spring Break in LA

I realize this post in LONG overdue. Two weeks overdue to be exact. These past couple weeks have been crazy busy, which hasn't left much free time. Excuses, excuses. I'll just skip to the point...

A couple weeks ago, my aunt Cindi and cousin Olivia spent their spring break with me in LA. Hosting visitors is so much fun for me, especially when it's family. Our family is very close, so we're always finding excuses to get everyone together. However, it's not often that it's just a few of us at a time, which made their visit that much more special. I really enjoyed showing them around LA and having long talks over a great meals. Those are moments I will cherish forever. There's something about being with family that puts your heart at ease.

Here's a picture recap of our time together:

Dinner at The Grove on their first night in LA.

Another event at Kyle by Alene Too.
Kyle Richards talking to the press about her favorite looks for the upcoming season.

Kelly accepted an offer at another firm, which was bittersweet.
Sadly, this was our last "work" event together.

I thought it would be fun for Cindi and Olivia to come to the event with me.

Dinner at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, El Compadre.
This was one of my favorite nights,
because we sat and talked about everything under the sun.

We spent Saturday afternoon at the beach in Santa Monica.

Oversized mint green lifeguard chair makes for the perfect photo op.

Playing on the rings at Muscle Beach in Santa Monica.

It's harder than it looks!

Sunday morning hike to the Griffith Observatory.

Somehow she grew taller than me.
When did that happen?!

Pinching the Hollywood sign.
Love this!

 Celebrating St. Patty's day poolside.

There can never be too many palm trees!
You can't help but feel happy when you see them.

Spending our last night together in Beverly Hills.

 Being tourists!

Our last dinner together at an adorable little Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills.

 Roomie pic!

The most exciting part of anyone's visit...picking them up from LAX.
The saddest part of anyone's visit...taking them back to LAX.

Hopefully their spring break vacation convinced them to come back and visit again soon!

Cindi and Olivia, if you're reading this, thank you so much for everything! I love and miss you! Please plan your next trip asap :)
