DSM to LAX: Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013

The 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs TONIGHT on CBS at 10/9c. This is one of Full Picture's most exciting initiatives, and I feel so lucky to have taken part in what will hopefully be the first of many! Having grown up watching the VS Fashion Show each year, it was very surreal experience to say the least. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be in the audience at the world's most celebrated fashion show, let alone working behind-the-scenes!

This year's musical performances included Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World and Neon Jungle. You'll also see pink carpet interviews with celebrities, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show, mixed in between the 6 different fashion sections:

British Invasion – This was the opening section of the show. An explosion of all things British --- where bright, youthful musical movements and Rock n' Roll rubbed elbows. It was homage to Victoria’s Secret brand heritage. This section featured Candice Swanepoel wearing the $10 million Royal Fantasy Bra designed by Mouawad.

Birds of Paradise – Graceful incarnations of rare birds inhabited this section of the show. It was the elegant solution to a chic reinvention of the iconic Angel wing. It was seductive, consuming and opulent.

Shipwrecked – Angels were washed ashore onto a sun-kissed, shimmering Utopic isle. Sun-bleached pastels and twinkling, beachy treasures accented ghostly voluminous silhouettes.

PINK Network – It was the mood of urban hipness and unapologetic fun in a fashion graffiti mural that springs to life. PINK Network used clever, cutting edge social media references in a way that was fresh, fun and fabulous.

Parisian Nights – Hot, sexy and exciting. It was a seductively wicked adventure into a sexy nightlife of glamour. Jazzy sleek musical accents punctuated strong colors with sensual, sparkling jet-black details.

Snow Angels – This was a mystical finale that celebrated the iconic Victoria’s Secret Angel, in a dreamlike, mystical winter wonderland. Feathery and fluffy. Bedazzled and breathless.

The show is actually filmed twice - one show at 4PM and one show at 8PM. (Who knew?!) Both shows are exactly the same and both shows are filmed.
